Following the Budget announcement on 22 April an additional £45 million has been allocated to the Low Carbon Buildings Programme (LCBP). LCBP Phase Two will receive an additional £35 million of funding. This sees the current programme extend from 1 July 2009 until April 2011 in order to support technologies until the introduction of Feed-in Tariffs and the Renewable Heat Incentive.

As of the 1st July 09 Natural Power will, as DECC accredited installers, be able to offer a grant of up to 50% on all of the solar installations for Non Profit Organisations.

This grant is available to public sector buildings (including schools, hospitals, housing associations and local authorities) and charitable bodies. There is currently £45 Million set aside for this funding and will run until April 2011 The opportunity to access this grant money also provides a competitive edge for the mechanical contractors as the client can be refunded up to 50% of their microgeneration installation which is a very attractive cost saving.

Natural Power has established itself as a leading commercial installer and we are currently installing over 700m2 of solar thermal, several of which exceed 200m2 per project. We can offer design at concept stage through to final commissioning and maintenance. Please follow this link to the Phase 2 microgeneration site for eligibility confirmation http://www.lowcarbonbuildingsphase2.org.uk/page.jsp?id=33 .
