However, the glorious sunshine of the final two days definitely lifted our spirits and despite at times being exhausted we were all motivated and determined to complete the ride knowing that we were raising money to help some fantastic charities.”

The group cycled over 65 miles a day, stopping at Porthmadog, Aberaeron, and Brecon overnight before reaching their final destination, the basin in Cardiff Bay where they were met by were met by family, friends and business colleagues as they crossed over the finish line.

Continued James: “It is a fantastic achievement for all involved knowing that we are on course to raise over £20,000 for our charities. Furthermore, due to its resounding success we are already looking at new challenges for 2012. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has generously donated and supported us throughout the challenge.”
