freshbaked Group's Managing Director, Richard Matthews and James Emery, Managing Director of COS – the Complete Office Solution are undertaking a Wife Swap style challenge when they swap businesses for a week this November to gain first hand experience of how each other’s organisations work. The purpose of the swap will be for the managing directors to gain an insight into the day-to-day operations of each company, as well as the overall strategic approach of the business, to inspire fresh new thinking and share best practice ideas.
James will work alongside the team at freshbaked to provide bespoke training and telecommunications solutions to corporate clients across Wales, while Richard will work with COS to provide stationery and office solutions to the company’s strong client base.
James said: “We are always looking at ways to keep providing the best in customer service to our clients and working alongside a like-minded organisation, such as freshbaked, where this is also at the heart of their operation we hope to learn from each other’s experiences.”
The week will also foster the professional and personal development of both managing directors as they continue to head up two of Wales’ leading service providers. At the end of the swap, both MDs will meet up to share their thoughts and experiences at each others organisation, focusing on both the positive aspects of the week and any areas of improvement. Richard continued: “This project will allow us to share knowledge and ideas as we strive to get the best possible results to meet our clients’ needs. Hopefully, when we meet up following the week at each other’s organisations, we don’t descend into personal insults like on the real show!”
