The collaboration between the Business Interiors Division of COS and air conditioning installation specialists JCW will strengthen both businesses’ offering when contracted on office design and refurbishment programmes being able to offer a more integrated service.

After first working together on the Royal College of Nursing contract in Cardiff, both companies are now cementing their relationship with the RCN’s next project in Exeter. The fit out of the office in Capital Court, Exeter will provide the RCN with 3,821 square foot of contemporary office space.

The new development in Exeter is one of several RCN offices that COS is contracted to work on after being chosen early last year as its preferred contractor for building works across the UK.

Having already completed projects in Glasgow, Bolton and Winchester, COS is helping to modernise and streamline all of the regional offices of the UK’s largest professional nursing union by providing installation and refurbishment works over the course of the next two years.

On the strategic partnership, Alan Davies, Director of Business Interiors at COS, said: “We first began work with JCW on the headquarters of RCN in Cardiff and were very impressed with their professionalism and dedication to the cause. The joint venture worked well and we have decided to take our relationship forward for the next project in Exeter with a strategic partnership that will undoubtedly benefit all parties involved. We are very much looking forward to working with JCW.”

JCW Director Wayne Abuzaid commented: “Partnering up with COS will mean that we can offer clients a complete service from the design of the office through to the fit-out and air conditioning installation. It provides a logical and cost effective opportunity for businesses looking to revamp their place of work.”
